February 1st, 2020

About a 40 minute scenic drive from the Redwood Hyperion Suites on the Redwood Highway, you’ll find some unique eats when you visit Taylor’s Sausage in Cave Junction.

A long history…

Since 1924 the Taylor family has been making fine sausage. After selling at the world famous Hollywood Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles for 19 years and a brief interruption for World War II. the family established a store in Oakland California. It wasn’t until 1970 that they headed north to the Illinois Valley in Josephine County, Southern Oregon.

The 5th generation of the Taylor family now continues the tradition of making more than 80 varieties fine handcrafted sausage.
