Kite & Balloon Festival

When: June 1 – 3, 2018
What: Marvel at a skyline of brightly colored hot air balloons, a 10,000 square foot American flag and giant kites! Float above the ground in a hot air balloon lift! Eat yummy food and stay for evening entertainment! It’s the Southern Oregon community event of the summer that you won’t want to miss!

Brews Bluegrass and BBQ

When: June 2, 2018 – 12:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: RoxyAnn Winery – 3283 Hillcrest Rd., Medford, OR
Just a short drive south from Grants pass, Brews, Bluegrass & BBQ is a fun music and food festival that supports the Rogue Valley Food System Network and Rogue Farm Corps.

Southern Oregon Misfits Charity Car Show

When: June 2, 2018 – 8:00am to 2:00pm
Where: SW G St, Grants Pass, OR
The show includes cars of all years, makes and models. This includes trucks and motorcycles. There will be a swap meet and raffle. Bring canned food to be donated to Josephine County Food Bank.

Free Concerts in the Park

When: June 19 – August 7, 2018
Where: 304 E Park Street in Grants Pass.
Concerts in the Park is put on by the Grants Pass and Josephine County Chamber of Commerce and features some of the best bands around Oregon. Join them for a free concert, great food, dancing and fun for the kids. The concerts start at 6:30 PM every Tuesday night during the summer in beautiful Riverside Park.

Art in the Garden

Art in the Garden – a two day event where private gardens are available to tour and you can buy art. Purchase your tickets at the Museum @ 229 SW G St, Grants pass.

Racing on the Rogue at Grants Pass Downs

Why not take dad out for an exciting day at the races! The Grants Pass Downs at the Josephine County Fairgrounds brings exciting horse racing, parimutuel betting and live music to the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon.

Wildlife Images + Camp EEK Summer Camp for Kids

When: June 18th – August 24th, 2018

Wildlife Images Education and Rehabilitation Center’s Summer Camp is available for kids ages 7-12. Animal Care Specialists allow campers to go WILD for the week as they hang out with Animal Ambassadors, play games, make cool crafts and explore outdoors. Camp can be attended for the whole week or day by day.

Birds and Brews

Located just a 30 minute drive south east of Grants Pass. Birds and Brews is a nature festival with mini hikes and activities for kids plus live music locally crafted microbrews, food, root beer, ice cream and more!

Rafting on the Rogue

Orange Torpedo Trips

Orange Torpedo offers a number of trips from mild to wide. For shorter trips, try their beginner day trip on the Rogue River day rafting section with kayaks or rafts.
